What you will do

• Oversee the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications.
• Manage application developers and build an interdisciplinary partnership across technology and business teams.
• Lead strategic technology expansion, team onboarding, and team building.
• Manage vendors and transition the existing team to industry-standard Engineering, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Partner with business, infrastructure, and IS leads to assess needs, manage expectations, and deliver solutions for current and future-state requirements.
• Support value-creating technology development and maintain high quality and performance across production systems.

Requirements

• 16–24 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree; postgraduate education in any field is acceptable.
• Professional background in eCommerce and a strong technical understanding of the full digital commerce stack.
• Demonstrated success operationalizing and supporting a world-class eCommerce operation as part of delivery.
• Experience with DevOps, NextJS, Oracle Commerce, J2EE, Agile Scrum, microservices, microservices testing, Azure, micro frontends, ReactJS, and integration.
• Strong leadership, people management, communication, planning, risk management, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
