Millwright (Manufacturing)

Location: Horsham, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite manufacturing environment

Wage: $32.02–$34.45 per hour, depending on experience. Sign-on bonus: $1,500.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, erect, move, and dismantle machinery and auxiliary production equipment.
• Inspect job sites and equipment, analyze blueprints and schematics, and estimate load weights, clearances, and support equipment needs.
• Fabricate and install sheet-metal and structural units such as guarding, stairs, conveyors, elevators, and platforms.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on assigned machines, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Follow safety, food safety, SOP, housekeeping, and plant maintenance procedures.
• Communicate pertinent information to the next shift and maintain an organized work area.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of job-related experience minimum.
• High school education, GED, related training, or equivalent work experience.
• Functional and technical knowledge to perform millwright and industrial maintenance work effectively.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow complicated verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule, including overtime, on-call work, or rotating 12-hour shifts when required.
• Regular and predictable attendance and compliance with workplace safety requirements are required.
