Maintenance Technician 1 (3rd Shift)

Location: Commerce, California, USA; onsite, Wednesday–Sunday, 8:15 PM–4:30 AM, with rotating work days

Salary: $19.00–$25.00 per hour, with the actual offer depending on education, skills, experience, performance, shift, and location.

What you will do

• Respond to maintenance requests on the production floor and support continuous manufacturing operations.
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical faults in machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Perform timely repairs and use parts breakdown manuals, operating manuals, and technical documentation.
• Inspect machinery, complete preventive maintenance activities, document issues, and manage work orders.
• Train and assist production technicians with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and production techniques.
• Maintain parts inventory, record maintenance activities, and complete housekeeping duties.

Requirements

• At least one year of related mechanical experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment faults, and read schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently on night and weekend shifts, including call-in and overtime duties.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
