Jr. Machinist (Manufacturing)

Location: Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, United States; on-site second shift or special work week shift required

Salary: $22.63–$33.95 per hour

What you will do

• Set up and tear down machine tools, including loading and unloading jaws, fixtures, and tooling.
• Download machining programs and interpret them to understand the production process.
• Load and unload parts from machines.
• Inspect in-process and finished products using micrometers, calipers, Pi tapes, rail gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Monitor cutting tools, adjust machine offsets, index or change inserts, and make tooling changes to improve the process.
• Keep the immediate work area clean and orderly.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to work on-site during either the second shift, Monday–Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, or the special work week shift, Friday–Sunday from 4:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

• Successful completion of a drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
