Assistant Project Manager - MEP

Location: Dallas, United States; on-site job-site work required

An integrated design and construction firm delivering building projects across multiple sectors through coordinated project delivery.

What you will do

• Support project management across preconstruction, procurement, contract administration, financial setup, and closeout.
• Process subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, subcontractor billings, and monthly pay applications.
• Coordinate continuously with design teams, owners, trade partners, vendors, developers, and consultants.
• Lead cost-saving efforts through value engineering and accurate general conditions estimates.
• Develop and update project schedules with the Superintendent using company software.
• Supervise and mentor Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, and Interns while identifying and resolving project risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant construction project or preconstruction experience.
• Experience in mission-critical or large-scale hospitality projects.
• College degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Thorough understanding of building construction, project budgets, contracts, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to work on site in Dallas, including outdoor conditions, uneven surfaces, ladders, stairs, extended standing, and moving equipment weighing up to 50 lb.
• Ability to maintain consistent and timely attendance and collaborate professionally with project stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable construction technologies.
• Interest in integrated project delivery, process improvement, and construction technology.
