People Business Partner (Life Sciences)

Location: Hybrid onsite presence required across Bristol and Abingdon sites, approximately 2 days per week at each location.

Salary: £34,400–£55,120 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with leaders across the UK, Ireland, Nordics and Benelux to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Coach leaders on management capability, performance, development and career conversations.
• Identify critical talent, retention risks and capability gaps, supporting workforce planning and organisational design.
• Lead complex employee relations matters and advise on fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing, culture and organisational change initiatives.
• Lead or contribute to regional and global People projects, process improvements and strategic HR programmes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR Business Partner or People Partner experience in a complex organisation.
• Experience partnering with leaders to solve business and organisational challenges.
• Strong employee relations experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience coaching leaders and influencing stakeholders at different levels.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving and strategic execution skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global matrix organisation and supporting multiple EMEA countries.
• Experience with organisational design, talent management and change initiatives.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent HR accreditation.
