Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Assisted Living (Full Time 12hr Shifts)

Location: Blue Island, Illinois, USA; onsite, full-time 12-hour shifts

Salary: USD 36.00 per hour

What you will do

• Administer medications in compliance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines.
• Complete resident admissions, assessments, discharges, and clinical documentation as needed.
• Develop acute, long-term care, and service plans for residents.
• Track clinical matters such as wounds and infection control under the director's guidance.
• Monitor changes in residents' health, notify physicians and family members, and document follow-up.
• Respond to emergencies, provide health-related consultation and education, and communicate with staff across departments.

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program with a general nursing focus.
• At least 1 year of experience in senior care or a related field.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Acceptable English proficiency required for duties, workplace communication, and emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks safely under pressure.
