Tower Climber / Antenna Rigger (Telecommunications)

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States; 100% travel to locations around the world

US citizenship is required. Visa support and C2C arrangements are not available.

What you will do

• Erect, install, maintain, repair, remove, retrofit, and modify guyed communication towers and antenna systems.
• Work with safety equipment, hand and power tools, cranes, and specialty rigging tools in remote sites and adverse weather conditions.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and tower assembly drawings.
• Use digital theodolite transits to capture tower verticality.
• Measure guy-wire tension with Dillon quick checks and digital dynamometers.
• Install coaxial connectors and grounding kits, and connect cables to antennas and tower ground bars.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in guyed tower rigging and erection.
• Demonstrated experience with communication guyed towers, antennas, rigging, construction, and industry safety practices.
• Experience following OSHA and customer-specific safety procedures, including TIA-1019, TIA-222G, ASME B30.7, and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.552/1926.553.
• Ability to climb guyed towers up to 300 feet, lift up to 75 pounds, and work up to 12 hours occasionally.
• US citizenship, ability to obtain a passport, and ability to obtain a NACI-Tier 1 clearance and pass a background check are required.
• Ability to travel 100% of the time, typically spending 2–6 months at each location.
