Trainee Claims Assessor

Location: Dorking or Basingstoke, UK, with hybrid working requiring 8 days in the office per month

What you will do

• Learn to assess and manage claims using medical and policy knowledge.
• Provide clear and empathetic updates to customers throughout the claims process.
• Manage an individual caseload while collaborating with colleagues across the Claims department.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and maintain a customer-first service.

Requirements

• Curiosity, analytical thinking, investigative ability, and strong attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Organisation and resilience when managing varied workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathy, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive situations.
• Customer service, casework, financial services, law, psychology, nursing, or related experience may be helpful.
• Ability to commute to Dorking or Basingstoke for the required hybrid schedule.
