Employment Adviser - Eastleigh FTC

Location: Eastleigh offices, United Kingdom; occasional travel to surrounding programme delivery areas is required, with travel costs reimbursed. This is an 8-month fixed-term contract.

Salary: £27,976–£29,000.

What you will do

• Assess customers' circumstances, identify barriers to employment, and build positive working relationships.
• Create and follow individualised action plans that support customers toward sustainable employment.
• Provide guidance, challenge, and practical support to develop customers' recruitment skills and confidence.
• Identify suitable vacancies, training options, and local specialist services, including disability, housing, and benefits support.
• Maintain accurate customer records and meet quality, compliance, KPI, and performance requirements.
• Build effective relationships with employers, Job Centre teams, funding providers, and internal and external partners.

Requirements

• Customer- or client-facing experience in a targeted environment.
• Customer-focused, target-driven, pragmatic, and solution-focused approach.
• Ability to motivate and challenge customers while supporting positive change.
• Independence and professionalism to manage a personal caseload within a wider team.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree-level education or a demonstrable record of success in target-driven sales, customer service, or case management is desirable.
