Antenna Inspector-Rigger (Telecommunications)

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States; travel to various locations worldwide up to 70% of the time

What you will do

• Perform annual maintenance and climbing inspections of antenna systems, guyed towers, self-supporting towers, and monopoles.
• Collect photographs and testing data, identify structural or functional discrepancies, and prepare repair recommendations in inspection reports.
• Install, erect, maintain, repair, remove, and retrofit towers, antennas, microwave dishes, feed lines, and ice shields.
• Operate construction equipment to dig holes, inspect guy wire anchors, and handle tools, supplies, and antenna components.
• Install coaxial connectors and grounding kits, and connect coaxial cables to antennas and tower ground bars.
• Perform field work safely at remote sites and in adverse weather conditions.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required; visa support and C2C arrangements are not available.
• Experience inspecting and repairing guyed and self-supporting towers and monopoles.
• Demonstrated antenna rigging and/or ironworker experience, with expertise in construction, rigging, safety, and general industry practices.
• Ability to read construction drawings and tower assembly drawings.
• Experience following OSHA and customer-specific safety procedures, including TIA-1019, TIA-222G, ASME B30.7, and applicable OSHA regulations.
• Ability to climb towers, lift up to 75 lbs., work up to 12 hours occasionally, obtain a NACI and background check, and wear required PPE.
