Manager, Accounting

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; typically office-based or hybrid

What you will do

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the site.
• Prepare and review trial balances, financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accurate accounting for revenue, expenses, and accruals.
• Maintain internal controls and support compliance with SOX, GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff as an active member of the site leadership team.
• Improve accounting processes, implement automation, and support ERP and financial-system upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment using standard costing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, and accounting procedures.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP software such as Oracle, NetSuite, D365, or QAD, plus advanced Excel skills.
• Must have United States work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
