Senior Accountant (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite five days per week in Bellevue, Washington, United States

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 base salary annually, plus eligibility for discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Complete monthly financial close activities by the second day of each month.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, supporting balances with complete documentation.
• Lead day-to-day accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor management, payments, and inquiry resolution.
• Prepare and review journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and adjustments.
• Track fixed asset acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals while ensuring correct accounting treatment.
• Manage business unit tax administration, filings, state tax apportionment, and sales and use tax activities.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of progressive operational accounting experience, including journal entries, accounts payable review, and fixed asset accounting.
• Working knowledge of sales and use tax and local tax regulations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills for handling large datasets and complex documents; familiarity with NetSuite ERP is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting preferred; CPA designation is a plus.

• Experience reviewing tax-related work.
• Power BI experience.
• CPA designation.
