Senior Shipping Coordinator

Location: Taoyuan City, Taiwan

What you will do

• Coordinate inbound and outbound routings for domestic and international shipments.
• Create export and shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, carrier waybills, and shipper instructions.
• Deliver information to import brokers, monitor post-clearance activities, and resolve import and customs issues.
• Screen transactions for export-license determination and report required export data to government agencies.
• Manage carrier relationships, including pricing, service levels, rate negotiations, tracking, tracing, and audits.
• Identify operational improvements, develop solutions, and maintain department records in line with retention policies.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of related work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of transportation operations, organizational procedures, and logistics practices.
• Basic understanding of world geography and transportation events.
• Strong judgment, initiative, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external contacts; travel may be required.
