Project Manager (Mission Critical/Data Center Experience)

Location: Denver, United States; the role requires frequent movement around construction job sites and work in outdoor weather conditions.

What you will do

• Lead project financials, schedules, risk management, quality, and client relationships for projects ranging from $10 million to $50 million.
• Support preconstruction by assembling bid packages, directing pre-bid meetings, analyzing bids, awarding work, and assisting with contract negotiations.
• Lead value-engineering and cost-savings initiatives while preparing general-conditions estimates and maintaining budgets.
• Review construction contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders for compliance with contract documents.
• Analyze and negotiate owner and subcontractor change-order requests, including validity and contractual enforcement.
• Forecast project costs, report to leadership monthly, maintain project schedules, and coordinate updates with superintendents.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant commercial construction experience; healthcare and office-building experience is preferred.
• Experience leading projects and being accountable for financial outcomes, completion, and schedule.
• Experience supporting larger project teams in project-management duties and responsibilities.
• Understanding of pre-project planning and its impact on project delivery.
• College degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to mentor, train, supervise, and collaborate with project teams, owners, subcontractors, and unions.

Nice to have

• Mission-critical or data-center construction experience.
• Knowledge of local market and city regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable construction technologies.
• Estimating experience.
