Sr Project Manager (Mission Critical / Data Centers)

What you will do

• Lead complex construction and building systems projects from initial assessment and design through bidding, construction, and installation.
• Set project objectives, schedules, delivery strategies, budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets.
• Coordinate clients, contractors, facility personnel, engineering partners, vendors, and internal teams.
• Prepare or coordinate layouts, drawings, schematics, project documentation, bid packages, cost estimates, and change orders.
• Oversee installation, safety compliance, permits, inspections, building codes, and contractor performance.
• Support business development and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.

Requirements

• Ten or more years of relevant experience in construction and building systems design.
• Experience in project management, estimating, field installation, and installation supervision.
• Required OSHA certifications.
• Technical expertise in mechanical and/or electrical systems, with knowledge of related disciplines, applicable codes, and standards.
• Advanced project management, communication, collaboration, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project; English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Mission-critical or data-center project management experience, including work in live or occupied critical environments.
• Design-build delivery and complex MEP infrastructure experience.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS systems, standby generators, cooling systems, and other data-center infrastructure.
• Professional Engineer license, PMP certification, and experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Business development and client relationship management experience.
