IT Administrator

Location: Onsite at the Bethesda and Frederick, Maryland offices, United States. Travel between both offices during the same workday is not required.

Salary: $65,000–$100,000 USD base salary per year.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day IT operations, systems administration, and technical projects for the Bethesda and Frederick offices.
• Provide onsite and remote troubleshooting through the ITSM ticketing system and escalate complex issues.
• Provision, deploy, and maintain macOS and Windows devices using Intune and Apple Business Manager.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, and Exchange, including identity, access, licensing, and basic security configuration.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding, hardware inventory, procurement, device lifecycle processes, and IT documentation.
• Support networking, Wi-Fi, cabling, AV systems, switches, firewalls, and other network appliances while collaborating with Security, Engineering, and HR.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in IT administration, systems support, or a similar technical role.
• Experience with an ITSM or ticketing system.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration experience, including identity and access management.
• Experience with Intune, Apple Business Manager, or similar MDM platforms for macOS and Windows.
• Ability to troubleshoot macOS and Windows hardware, conferencing tools, and peripherals, including executive support.
• Understanding of RBAC, IAM, MFA, networking protocols, IT security principles, risk vectors, and common vulnerabilities.
