IT Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Palo Alto office, hybrid; all I-9 eligible candidates will be considered. Travel may be required for company offsites.

Salary: $100K–$125K base, with bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1/2 support for hardware, software, SaaS applications, connectivity, and productivity tools across an 80+ employee hybrid workforce.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, user accounts, permissions, access controls, and SaaS provisioning.
• Administer and maintain operating systems, Google Workspace, applications, devices, asset inventories, and hardware tracking.
• Coordinate with the managed service provider on escalations, infrastructure tasks, vendors, device purchases, and project execution.
• Support security operations through access reviews, MFA enforcement, endpoint compliance checks, alert monitoring, and risk identification.
• Maintain IT documentation, runbooks, knowledge-base content, security policies, and SOC 2 Type II evidence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience as an IT Specialist, IT Administrator, technical support specialist, systems analyst, or network administrator.
• Proficiency with macOS, iOS, Windows, and common networking technologies.
• Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace, including users, Groups, directory, OAuth app controls, and environment hardening.
• Knowledge of SaaS access management, SSO concepts including SAML, SCIM, and OAuth, network administration, firewalls, cybersecurity, and data protection.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, and organizational skills for supporting technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Google IT Support Professional certification.
• Experience with SOC 2 audits, NIST or ISO 27001, cloud platforms, ITIL, RMM tools, or managed service providers.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry.
