DevOps Engineer

Location: Ashburn, Virginia, United States; hybrid attendance required 1–2 days per week

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

What you will do

• Implement and support continuous integration, deployment, testing, monitoring, and feedback pipelines.
• Collaborate with development and operations staff to improve delivery automation.
• Develop improvements to infrastructure availability, scalability, and performance.
• Support production deployments and resolve issues during on- and off-hours on a rotating basis.
• Research problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed client needs and expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of technical infrastructure experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining continuous integration pipelines using tools such as Harness.
• Infrastructure automation scripting and programming experience with Shell, Python, or Bash.
• Production monitoring experience with Dynatrace, Kibana, and Splunk.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, Maven or Gradle, Node, npm, REST API or curl, jq, and Kubernetes or kubectl.
• Active DHS Public Trust clearance is preferred; ability to obtain DHS Public Trust is required.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying to a government-supported cloud environment.
• Production support experience for mission-critical systems.
• Experience with AWS technologies.
