What you will do

• Design and execute analytical solutions using statistical, optimization, simulation, and data-mining methods.
• Integrate large-volume data from DB2, SQL Server, Web API, and Teradata to create data assets and perform analyses.
• Build validated, aggregated, and reconciled frameworks for modeling-ready data.
• Construct predictive machine-learning models for forecasting, risk scoring, clustering, and event analysis.
• Interpret results, communicate findings to management, and identify potential business value.
• Support the integration and automation of analytical solutions within existing business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field preferred.
• Approximately 2 years of professional or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with programming, APIs, file I/O, databases, analysis libraries, Jupyter notebooks, or statistical packages.
• Understanding of statistical inference, regression, and machine-learning techniques such as random forests and neural networks.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries across multiple tables and databases.
• Communication skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools, process mapping, scripting-based automation, data mining, or web scraping.
• Exposure to the financial services industry.
• Ability to coach or mentor team members and collaborate according to technical best practices.
