People Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, USA; hybrid

Salary: USD 90,000–125,000 yearly

What you will do

• Develop workforce analytics, statistical analyses, predictive models, forecasts, and experiments covering headcount, turnover, retention, recruiting, labor costs, engagement, diversity, and workforce planning.
• Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards, executive reports, visualizations, and data-driven narratives connecting workforce metrics to business outcomes.
• Support HCM system implementations, enhancements, integrations, testing, workflows, security roles, reporting structures, and ongoing optimization.
• Build automated reporting processes, data integrations, and workforce data pipelines to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Manage workforce data governance, including validation, audits, compliance monitoring, data integrity, privacy, responsible AI, and bias mitigation.
• Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning and Development, Finance, IT, Payroll, and business leaders to define requirements and inform decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, industrial-organizational psychology, computer science, analytics, business, human resources, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data science, people analytics, workforce analytics, applied research, or a related analytical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, machine learning, hypothesis testing, survey methodology, and experimental design.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical programming language such as Python or R.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, large complex datasets, dashboards, reports, and executive presentations.
• Strong communication, consulting, critical-thinking, problem-solving, data governance, data privacy, and responsible AI skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a quantitative or related field.
• Knowledge of workforce analytics, organizational research methods, employee lifecycle metrics, and talent management.
