Systems Engineer 3 - Linux/PKI/Crypto/SSP/STE/STN/AWS

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States; U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph are required.

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Support daily systems engineering responsibilities for Linux-based systems.
• Administer containers, cloud environments, storage, and virtualization platforms.
• Manage IP networking, firewalls, and general application support.
• Apply PKI, TLS, cryptography, and cryptographic policies.
• Support SSP compliance as well as STE and STN environments.
• Troubleshoot systems and applications and assist with automation where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Six years of systems engineering experience.
• IAT Level II baseline certification under DoD 8570.01-M.
• Professional experience with Linux, containers, cloud environments, storage management, and virtualization.
• Experience with IP networking, firewalls, application support, and troubleshooting.
• Current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph and U.S. citizenship.
