What you will do

• Lead systems engineering efforts that transition prototype capabilities into production-grade enterprise solutions.
• Test, integrate, validate, and maintain hardware, software, physical servers, virtualized environments, and production systems.
• Design and maintain systems architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and current- and target-state configurations.
• Build and support Linux server infrastructure, VMware/vSphere environments, MariaDB systems, AWS services, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Administer secure wireless, mobile device, certificate authority, Cisco ISE, network access control, and endpoint security solutions.
• Monitor worldwide mission WANs, perform root cause analysis for complex incidents, support accreditation, deploy solutions, train customers, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph are required.
• 10+ years of hands-on systems engineering, integration, and operations experience supporting government or intelligence community programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems security, information technology, systems engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience administering Linux, Windows, VMware, vSphere, AWS VPC/EC2/S3, Cisco ISE, certificate authorities, and Splunk.
• Experience with wireless infrastructure, mobile device management, endpoint security, systems documentation, and RMF/ICD 503 accreditation processes.
• Regular on-site work is required in Chantilly, Herndon, or McLean, Virginia.

Nice to have

• CSM, PMP, or AWS Solutions Architect/SysOps Administrator certification.
• MariaDB, OpenXT, COMSEC, encryption devices, secure communications, tactical communications, satellite systems, or military-grade network operations experience.
• Experience with DISA STIGs, DoD/IC security frameworks, automated network management tools, and ITSM platforms.
