Linux Systems Administrator III (AWS)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; onsite IT support is required

Salary: $110,000–$143,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Maintain Linux and Windows servers, workstations, and related infrastructure.
• Provide onsite IT support and handle escalations from the desktop support team.
• Maintain robust virtual and physical environments across multiple networks.
• Manage privileged access and support DevOps Linux requirements.
• Coordinate with the information assurance team to meet compliance requirements.
• Adopt new technologies as company requirements evolve.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 4 years of systems administration experience, including 2+ years administering Linux operating systems.
• Strong experience administering Ubuntu servers and workstations.
• Expertise or certification in the AWS cloud environment.
• Ability to manage multiple networks and communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and management.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete employment eligibility verification through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience in Department of Defense contractor environments.
• Experience supporting DevOps environments and administering AWS instances.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting.
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework requirements for Windows and Linux systems.
