Project Manager - SimTEC (DoD)

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States; office-based with travel to work site locations

What you will do

• Define project scope, milestones, budgets, and delivery plans for complex engineering initiatives.
• Manage risks, issues, strategic planning, and Earned Value Management activities.
• Apply Scrum, SAFe, or Hybrid Agile practices to support iterative development and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinate engineering teams on technical specifications, systems integration, software development lifecycle activities, and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with MIL-STD, DFARS, FAR, cybersecurity, and AS9100 requirements.
• Coordinate with government agencies, military personnel, subcontractors, and vendors on requirements, procurement, contract changes, and performance reporting.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• No visa support or C2C arrangements are available.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience managing engineering projects in DoD or federal contracting environments.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, systems engineering, program execution, systems integration, SDLC, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, or Primavera; ability to analyze staffing plans, validate LOE, and develop structured workflows.

Nice to have

• Active DoD security clearance.
• PMP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, DAWIA Certification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in aerospace, defense technology, or government contracting.
• Diplomatic communication skills for navigating sensitive leadership transitions.
