Project Manager (Avionics and Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Lead avionics and embedded systems development programs from initiation through delivery and certification.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, contracts, and project plans.
• Act as the primary interface for customers, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Drive execution using Earned Value Management, standard metrics, and Agile/Lean techniques.
• Coordinate Systems, Software, Hardware, Test, and Certification teams while applying Quality Management Systems.
• Mentor junior managers and support business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of industry experience, including 7+ years in formal leadership roles.
• Experience with avionics and embedded systems development or an equivalent industry background.
• Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management, Agile/Scrum, Agile Product Owner expectations, and Scrum Master expectations.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required; dual citizenship must be disclosed. Ability to travel approximately six to eight weeks per year is required.
