Associate Director, Data Science (Rare Disease)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $169,222–$253,000 annually, plus incentive opportunity.

What you will do

• Lead commercial data acquisition and analytics supporting go-to-market strategy for the nephrology and immunology franchise.
• Support pre-launch analytics, including exploratory data analysis, market definition, patient finding, and related analyses.
• Procure, stage, and define patient-level, laboratory, and other data sources.
• Develop data inputs and assumptions for pre-launch forecasting.
• Integrate insights and analytics with primary research partners and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, economics, life sciences, computer science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical data science, brand analytics, commercial analytics, or a related field, including at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R.
• Experience with pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA, Komodo, Symphony Claims, patient-level data, and claims data.
• Experience leading vendor teams and managing multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Strong communication, project management, storytelling, and strategic recommendation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in immunology, nephrology, rare disease, or oncology.
