TL;DR
Associate Director, Real World Evidence (RWE) Analytics (RWE, R, Python, SQL): Overseeing real-world evidence analyses and studies using administrative claims and electronic health records with an accent on observational research, epidemiology, and statistical programming. Focus on assessing data-source feasibility, developing algorithms and statistical analysis plans, analyzing outcomes, and communicating results to cross-functional stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Oversee the implementation of real-world evidence analyses and studies using large administrative claims and electronic health record databases.
  • Assess study feasibility across existing, new, and less familiar data sources through exploratory analyses and visualization.
  • Characterize disease epidemiology, disease burden, and pre-specified outcomes using descriptive and comparative study designs.
  • Develop statistical analysis plans, table shells, algorithms such as oncology lines of therapy, and traditional regression and time-to-event models.
  • Prepare study tables, dashboards, and slide decks, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Provide senior programming support, direction, and guidance to Data Analysts.

Requirements

  • BA/BS with 5 years of relevant experience, or MS/PhD with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Academic training in mathematics, statistics, biostatistics, statistical programming, observational research, epidemiology, health economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience programming in R, Python, and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of statistical and epidemiological methods.
  • Experience analyzing multiple sources of secondary patient data, including electronic medical records and administrative claims.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, interpersonal skills, and ability to explain technical details to non-expert audiences.
