Field Service Engineer (Commercial Refrigeration)

Location: Remote field role supporting sites in Tampa, Lake City, and Orlando, Florida, and Valdosta and Brunswick, Georgia. Up to 70% independent travel to manufacturing and customer sites is required.

Salary: $84,628–$157,165 per year; actual compensation varies by knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Discretionary bonuses and incentives may apply.

What you will do

• Perform field installation, commissioning, startup support, and troubleshooting for commercial refrigeration systems and merchandisers.
• Lead root-cause investigations of field-reported product issues and document onsite findings through field reports and escalation processes.
• Manage field projects, schedules, utilization, budgets, customer startups, complex orders, and new product builds.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, contractors, technicians, customers, and cross-functional teams to mitigate customer and warranty risks.
• Conduct plant and customer-site audits and support product, process, and execution improvements.
• Facilitate training, create training materials, provide peer-to-peer coaching, and mentor emerging field quality specialists.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; technical or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or a related industry.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, electrical controls, and equipment.
• Experience with field project management and complex customer startups.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to travel independently to manufacturing and customer sites for up to 70% of the time and work across manufacturing and installation facilities.
