Principal Electrical Engineer (Industrial Refrigeration)

What you will do

• Lead the design of electrical controls and power systems for industrial refrigeration projects.
• Produce preliminary and final electrical drawings and documentation using CAD software.
• Perform electrical design calculations and design lighting systems for industrial warehouses.
• Prepare controls bills of materials, take-offs, and ERP data entries.
• Coordinate material purchasing, vendor communications, fabrication, and project documentation.
• Support installation activities and verify compliance with design specifications, regulations, and client standards.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in electrical system design.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or other CAD software, such as Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring pre-employment and regular drug testing.
• Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods and occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• EIT license.
• Interest in pursuing a PE license.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems or previous MEP experience.
