Project Engineer (Industrial Refrigeration)

Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin, USA; typical office environment with exposure to the manufacturing floor and 10–15% travel.

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate engineering activities, deliverables, and designs for industrial refrigeration and gas compression customer projects.
• Develop project execution estimates, schedules, and change-order estimates.
• Own engineering deliverables across disciplines from project inception through completion, including field start-up support.
• Review compression system designs, customer drawings, codes, standards, contract requirements, and equipment compliance.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers, sales, vendors, and internal departments while resolving technical questions and problems.
• Lead multifunctional teams, improve engineering processes, and mentor junior engineers in design, risk management, and project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with compression systems or pressure piping systems and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Knowledge of heat-transfer products, thermodynamic systems, manufacturing BOM structures, and ERP systems.
• Ability to address a wide range of technical problems independently, communicate technical concepts clearly, and lead teams.
• Ability to travel 10–15%.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future; visa sponsorship will not be provided.
