Location: On-site at the Minneapolis, Minnesota facility; remote work is not available.

Salary: $87,600–$144,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Identify and prioritize process, cost, productivity, waste-reduction, and resource-utilization improvements in hematology reagent manufacturing.
  • Run Visual Factory management systems and lead Gemba walks with frontline manufacturing teams.
  • Collect, analyze, and report operational data using tools such as Excel, SmartSheets, and Power BI.
  • Participate in and lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, automation, digital transformation, and equipment-improvement initiatives.
  • Develop business cases for automation, capacity expansion, quality enhancement, and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and production teams while monitoring KPIs and supporting regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in continuous improvement, manufacturing, or operations.
  • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and change management, with strong analytical, problem-solving, business, and financial-analysis skills.
  • Experience with ERP, MES, digital continuous-improvement tools, statistical process-control software such as Minitab or JMP, and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, process automation, PLC-controlled systems, or digital manufacturing technologies.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship and must work on-site in Minneapolis.

Nice to have

  • Experience in regulated pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical-device, or diagnostic manufacturing.
  • Experience with cost savings, productivity improvement, or automation initiatives.
