Senior Engineer, Continuous Improvement (Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, Texas; role based at the Burnet, Texas factory

Salary: $91,000–$119,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Lead continuous improvement strategies that streamline manufacturing processes, eliminate waste, and optimize visual factory operations through Tier Daily Management.
• Assess site processes and KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and define, execute, and sustain improvement roadmaps.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and value stream mapping initiatives to improve business processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, business units, suppliers, customers, and global teams to integrate Lean improvements with digital technologies.
• Establish metrics and analyze data to measure the impact of improvement programs and identify further opportunities.
• Deliver workshops and training to support adoption of Lean methodologies, digital tools, and a continuous improvement culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment driving Lean and Six Sigma programs across a large-scale, diverse manufacturing footprint.
• Experience driving a Lean and digitization mindset across the supply chain with a global team.
• Formal Six Sigma training and Lean, Black Belt, and SPC credentials.
• Willingness to travel less than 10%.
