Diesel Technician C - Entry Level (Diesel)

Location: Edwardsville, Illinois, USA; full-time onsite work

Pay range: $21.90–$30.07 per hour, depending on the locality of hire.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel vehicles, trucks, and equipment under direct supervision.
• Inspect vehicle systems and identify potential equipment issues or malfunction sources using various tools.
• Change oil, replenish fluids, adjust equipment, replace tires, and perform light repairs.
• Complete basic electrical work, including replacing vehicle lights.
• Complete applicable company training programs and other assigned job-related duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Nice to have

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
• ASE T8 Preventive Maintenance certification.
