Data Research Analyst (Finance)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with four days in the office each week

Base salary: €29,000–€39,000 annually; 5% annual bonus target

What you will do

• Collaborate with global data teams and local business representatives to maintain accurate, complete, and timely financial data.
• Develop expertise in investment data points, methodologies, calculations, fund structures, and data acquisition processes.
• Manage relationships with fund companies and providers, establish acquisition channels, and act as an escalation point.
• Track production deadlines, own data issues through the ticket queue, and coordinate timely investigation and resolution.
• Evaluate procedures, improve analytical tools, and implement process improvement projects using methodologies such as LEAN Six Sigma.
• Translate internal client requests into written specifications and user stories, and improve client use cases.

Requirements

• Fluent English and fluency in at least two additional languages, including Nordic languages such as Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish.
• Understanding of the financial industry, investment data, data quality, methodologies, and operational processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to organize and manage high volumes of data.
• Strong collaboration, client focus, attention to detail, ownership, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous project management experience and the ability to work with operational and performance data.
