Diesel Mechanic - Entry Level

Location: Mt Laurel, NJ, USA; onsite, full-time

Pay range: $24.10–$33.10 per hour, depending on the locality of hire.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under direct supervision.
• Inspect vehicle systems and identify potential equipment issues and malfunction sources using various tools.
• Change oil, replenish fluids, adjust equipment, and perform light repairs including tire changes.
• Complete basic electrical work such as replacing lights.
• Complete applicable company training programs and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Certified diesel maintenance program completion and ASE T8 PM certification are advantageous but not required.
