Litho Console Technician (Lithography)

Location: 2121 Warner Road SE, Canton, Ohio 44707, USA. Full-time crew schedule with day or night shifts: 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Pay: $41.01 per hour plus a $0.75 shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, adjust, and repair KBA Metalstar steel flat-sheet printing press equipment.
• Prepare and apply coatings, perform UV checks, change application rolls, and make coater adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, troubleshooting, equipment disassembly, overhauls, and rebuilds.
• Inspect in-process and finished products, recognize defects, follow control plans, and support statistical process control activities.
• Manage packaging materials, pallet banding, production tickets, supplies, tooling, and shift handovers.
• Maintain production records and enter data in L2L, Infinity, QAD, SQDC boards, and Dozuki.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to discern colors and working knowledge of assigned equipment and products.
• Knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulics and pneumatics, plus use of micrometers, calipers, and hand tools.
• Knowledge of data entry, statistical process control software, and required SPC training.
• Ability to work onsite in Canton, Ohio, on day or night 12-hour crew shifts and follow all PPE and safety requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with ink theory, ink mixing, X-Rite color matching, press plates, and production specifications.
