Senior Business Specialist

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA; full-time onsite role

Salary: $45,600–$86,200 per year

What you will do

• Provide system, process, testing, and project support for medium- to large-sized functional and cross-functional initiatives.
• Identify, research, and resolve complex system and process problems, evaluating and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Document system change requests, elicit requirements, and partner with IT and functional teams on prioritization and implementation.
• Represent the functional area on complex projects and assess the downstream impact of business, system, and process changes.
• Develop test timelines, plans, cases, status updates, and sign-off documentation while tracking results and defects.
• Improve supported processes and mentor or train junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a functional or related area.
• Advanced knowledge of supported business systems, processes, customers, and related functional areas.
• Strong experience with project management methodology and corporate systems development methodology.
• Advanced leadership, negotiation, planning, organization, and time-management skills.
• Experience with MS Office; MS Project and PC, mainframe, or application environments are preferred.
