Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Sidney, Ohio, USA; hybrid schedule with a remote work option of up to two days per week.

What you will do

• Create manual journal entries, prepare month-end reconciliations, and maintain supporting workpapers and analyses.
• Coordinate monthly billings for centralized charges and ensure accurate recording across legal entities.
• Analyze general ledger accounts, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for company and government requirements.
• Support internal and external audit fieldwork and contribute to cross-functional projects and ad hoc analysis.
• Work with technical teams on Oracle and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and four or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and cost accounting theories and practices.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including linked spreadsheets, data downloads, complex formulas, and pivot tables.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle financial applications, Hyperion Financial Management, or OneStream.
• Experience with Domo, Power BI, or Power Query.
• Public accounting experience and CPA or CMA certification.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
