Senior Financial Controller (German)

Location: Remote from Slovakia only; the remote work restriction is due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: Base salary from €2,000 gross per month, depending on seniority and previous experience, plus a variable part and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Provide financial and strategic judgments on business transactions, measures, projects, technologies, business models, and market developments.
• Coordinate strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting for assigned business units.
• Prepare executive management overview reports and analyze actuals, forecasts, budgets, and prior-year results.
• Perform account and project controlling, including month-end and year-end closing.
• Calculate and book accruals, revenues, costs, true-ups, order entry, and order backlog in the financial system.
• Coordinate relevant closing processes globally and act as a senior operational authority without disciplinary responsibility.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Economics.
• At least 6 years of experience in finance.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office, advanced SAP skills, and intermediate Power BI skills.
• Expert-level analytical, ownership, time-management, result-interpretation, reporting, and financial-process skills.
• Advanced budgeting, planning, data analytics, communication, and organization skills.
• German at least B2 and English at least B2 required.
