Technical Project Manager (Data Analytics)

Location: Hybrid position requiring three days per week onsite in Tysons Corner, Virginia; US citizenship required and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year; actual compensation may vary based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

What you will do

• Lead complex data analytics and strategic business re-engineering projects, managing multiple project workloads and deliverables.
• Coordinate with business units to capture dashboard requirements and create persona-based data visualizations.
• Direct project participants and contractors while maintaining accountability for timelines, resources, and deliverable quality.
• Review work products for completeness, data accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Ensure peer reviews, unit tests, and quality control checks are completed before federal review and official due dates.
• Document data requirements, source-to-target mappings, and functional specifications as needed.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of project management experience.
• Experience working across disparate business units and managing multiple strategic business re-engineering projects.
• Hands-on approach and ability to support technical teams in completing complex deliverables.
• Proficiency in data analytics, translation, and visualization, including the ability to read, write, and troubleshoot queries independently.
• Experience managing data analytics, data governance, or data visualization projects.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL or Tableau.
• Experience managing strict QC pipelines, peer reviews, and unit testing in federal compliance or heavily regulated environments.
• Experience translating requirements into persona-based dashboards, such as Tableau dashboards.
