Senior IT Project Manager (Data & Analytics)

Location: Fully remote within the United States

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of 2 to 4 concurrent enterprise Data & Analytics projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Build and manage project plans, Gantt charts, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and RAID logs.
• Track project budgets, resource allocations, actuals, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Guide technical teams through the SDLC and oversee architecture, data pipeline, and reporting milestones.
• Coordinate executive sponsors, business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, analytics leads, and vendors.
• Manage risks, governance, security, privacy, compliance, status reporting, and delivery accountability.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of hands-on IT Project Management experience with complex software and technology initiatives.
• Recent experience leading enterprise-level Data & Analytics projects.
• Strong familiarity with Azure Data Lake, data lakehouse architectures, Databricks, and cloud data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience managing BI and reporting projects using Power BI or Tableau.
• Expertise in data governance, privacy, security regulations, data loss prevention, and the full SDLC.
• Advanced project scheduling, financial controls, stakeholder management, communication, and risk management skills.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or other project management certification.
• Experience with data modernization, cloud data warehouse migrations, master data management, or modern data integration and orchestration tools.
