Director, Government Pricing (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $186,489–$278,875 annually, plus incentive opportunity

What you will do

• Lead Medicaid AMP and Best Price, Medicare ASP, and VA Non-FAMP calculations and quarterly and annual reporting certifications.
• Establish government pricing checks, validate models, analyze pricing trends and anomalies, and assess business impacts.
• Oversee government rebates and discounts, including Medicaid, Medicare Part D, Inflation Reduction Act rebates, FSS contracts, and state Medicaid agreements.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, including price transparency reporting, Medicare Drug Price Negotiation, and bonafide service fee evaluations.
• Partner with Contract Operations, Market Access, Gross-to-Net Forecasting, Pricing Committees, and legal counsel on pricing strategy and compliant contracting.
• Oversee vendors and technology platforms, drive Power BI reporting improvements, resolve 340B duplicate-discount disputes, and reduce manual processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• 5+ years of direct experience with statutory government pricing calculations, operations, and compliance.
• Experience managing technical analyst teams, external audits, and regulatory risk presentations to senior executives.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• An MBA, CPA, or JD is highly preferred.
