Sr. Production Planner I (Manufacturing)

Location: US-Airport F (TAS); onsite full-time position

What you will do

• Plan, release, and independently manage production orders.
• Verify drawings, bills of materials, routings, material availability, and staging before manufacturing release.
• Monitor production progress, adjust schedules, expedite materials, and resolve shortages and capacity constraints.
• Analyze MRP outputs, validate system data against actual schedules, and communicate risks and recovery plans.
• Act as an ERP and planning subject matter expert while supporting system improvements, data integrity, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train, coach, and review the work of planners while coordinating with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehousing, Scheduling, and Project Management.

Requirements

• Five to seven years of progressive production or manufacturing planning experience, including senior or lead planning experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing schedule risk, material constraints, and system-driven planning logic.
• Advanced ERP proficiency and expertise with MRP logic; experience with MS Project and/or Great Plains is desired.
• Experience with JIT, MRP, CRP, Lean or other waste-elimination processes, and ISO 9000 or comparable quality management systems is desired.
• Four-year technical degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience; six years of equivalent work experience may substitute.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and data evaluation skills.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM certification.
• Spanish language skills.
