Systems Engineer 2 (Confluence/Jira/Kibana/Grafana)

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland; U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph are required.

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience.

What you will do

• Support daily systems engineering responsibilities for programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Gather, document, and communicate customer requirements.
• Manage sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
• Facilitate internal customer and team meetings.
• Communicate status, priorities, and milestones with customer management.
• Coordinate with DevOps to capture and maintain tasking in JIRA.

Requirements

• Fourteen years of systems engineering experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, engineering management, or a related discipline; five additional years of systems engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice to have

• Understanding of or experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, or Helm.
• Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards.
• Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards.
