Safety N2 Diagnostic Calibration Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Validate Safety Level 2 strategies for powertrain control units.
• Analyze and configure Safety Level N2 functions and diagnostic features for engine and powertrain components.
• Process and analyze fault-detection and data-acquisition results from validation tests and vehicle missions.
• Manage the engine Safety freeze process and analyze DTC and OBD fault codes.
• Support root-cause investigations, problem resolution, planning, prioritization, and delivery coordination within multidisciplinary project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of vehicle systems and powertrain architecture.
• Understanding of automotive diagnostics, trouble codes, and Safety Level 2 requirements.
• Ability to read and understand MATLAB/Simulink models.
• Experience with INCA, MDA, CRETA, or Concerto; a valid Category B driving license is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, organization, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Model-Based Design and Stateflow.
• Experience with CANalyzer.
• AW18 certification or experience.
