What you will do
- Manage the complete safety lifecycle development process from initial specifications to final vehicle testing and validation.
- Design safety architectures and specify functional requirements based on domain knowledge.
- Perform risk assessments and safety analyses to define measures for achieving safety performance targets.
- Conduct hands-on safety calibration and integration activities.
- Develop simulation platforms and methodologies to verify safety concepts using SIL, MIL, and HIL.
- Execute environmental tests in various global locations, including the USA, Italy, Finland, and Spain.
Requirements
- Degree in Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in R&D and product development projects.
- Fluent English speaking and excellent writing skills (C1).
- Strong understanding of Functional Safety (ISO 26262), E/E architecture, and vehicle control.
- Experience in Requirement Engineering, Controller/Algorithm Design, and Safety analysis (FMEA, FTA).
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, Automotive Diagnostics, and network communication platforms (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Nice to have
- Proficiency in German, French, or Italian.
- Programming experience in Python, C#, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of Electrified & hybrid powertrain technologies, ADAS/AD, Chassis, or SOTIF.
