Etch Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: 100% onsite in Palm Bay, Florida, United States. Compressed work week: 3 days from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. one week and 4 days the next; day and night shifts are available.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tool sets in the Etch area.
• Support AMAT, Gasonics, STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher, Axcelis Fusion, Semitool, and manual wet-bench equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic equipment issues and apply structured problem-solving methods.
• Use and implement statistical process control in the semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Support reliable operation of equipment during compressed day or night shifts.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance, including at least 5 years in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, or STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.
• AS or AA degree in electrical, mechanical, or military training, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong mechanical and electronic skills, excellent written and oral communication, and demonstrated problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of SPC and its implementation in manufacturing.
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. Person status is required for this ITAR role. Ability to lift 40 lb is also required.
