Semiconductor Maintenance Technician – Etch/Metals

Location: Chandler, United States; onsite work in the Chandler manufacturing fab. Compressed shifts are required, with day or night openings available.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the Chandler Fab etch equipment area.
• Maintain Applied Materials, Lam, ULVAC, Gasonics, Axcelis, and Fusion equipment toolsets.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems.
• Complete scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and other equipment-area activities.
• Interface with internal and external groups to satisfy safety, performance, and reliability requirements.
• Complete documentation and train other personnel.

Requirements

• Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions is required.
• Problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of SPC, 5S, and FDC systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours and perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping and crawling in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• AA, AS, or AAS in electronics or an industrial engineering-related discipline is preferred; relevant experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
