Wet Cleans Equipment Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite in Austin, United States, at the Ed Bluestein manufacturing facility. The role requires working in a cleanroom, wearing cleanroom attire and PPE, standing or walking for up to 12 hours per shift, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor fab equipment.
• Improve equipment performance to meet process requirements and eliminate recurring tool breakdowns.
• Monitor and analyze tool data, then recommend improvements to maintenance procedures.
• Work with engineers to design and execute equipment improvement projects.
• Communicate machine status clearly in written and verbal form.
• Provide written shift handoff communication to engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electronic skills, including the ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Problem-solving ability, project management skills, and knowledge of SPC in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom environment, stand or walk for up to 12 hours per shift, wear PPE, and handle potential exposure to hazardous processing materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, a strong work ethic, and verifiable references.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCP 9400 Wet Hoods, MEI Wet Bench, SCP E200 Wet Hoods, Screen WS 820L Wet Hood, Akrion GAMA Wet Hood, Novellus Sabre, Semitool Spray Solvent Tool, or Semitool Spray Acid Tool.
